The Tragedy of Joan of Arc

A re-telling of one woman's lonely fight to save France: Greek chorus meets red-nosed clown.
Part clown play, part tragedy, and part historical fantasia, Joan of Arc presents Joan's triumphs and failures amid a whirlwind of startling images. The piece is a journey of one of the world's greatest heroes among saints and charlatans, through dances and inquisitions, and into the belly of a whale.
