Pig Iron Theatre Company's production of Hell Meets Henry Halfway

Hell Meets Henry Halfway

2004
A heady cocktail of florid insults and absurd cruelties dressed in tennis whites.
“Absurd, unbalancing and exhilarating, Hell Meets Henry Halfway is a Tilt-a-Whirl of a show that leaves you dizzy and means to.” - The New York Times

Based on Polish literary provocateur Witold Gombrowicz's Gothic horror novel Possessed, Henry is set amid a decaying Eastern European aristocracy. It's a pitch-black comedy, set in a poisonous atmosphere of contempt and self-pity.

Winner of a 2005 OBIE Award and 2005 Barrymore Award.
